Tires are the only point of contact your car has to the road. Proper inspection, selection and installation of tires ensures that the stablitly, handling and safety of your car is the best it can be.
Tires should be selected by the correct size and type for the vehicle. They should be purchased in sets of four, or at least matching sets of two on each axle.
IMPORTANT FOR SAFETY'S SAKE:
When replacing only 2 tires. First replace the 2 worn out tires and then be sure to have the new tires moved to the rear axle of the car. This is true for Front Wheel Drive, Rear Wheel Drive and All Wheel Drive vehicles. See the video below, from Michelin Tire for more information
